Personally speaking, while I liked the old cast too, I'm pretty happy with the new cast, seeing Toshiki Masuda, Soma Saito, and Shunsuke Takeuchi all voice characters in the Pretty Rhythm/King of Prism franchise, one of my favorite anime. Instead, the change is probably a consequence of the various delays and development changes Megaton Musashi went through. These three are highly popular and costly seiyuu, but the new ones are extremely popular as well, so it's just a guess, but it shouldn't be a money problem. Back when the game was first revealed in 2016, they were respectively voiced by Mazakazu Morita, Miyu Irino, and Tatsuhisa Suzuki. It's important to note the seiyuu for Yamato, Teru, and Ryuugo changed over time. Gaudia, piloted by Ryuugo Hijikata, who's voiced by Shunsuke Takeuchi. Sparkman, piloted by Teru Asami, who's voiced by Soma Saito. Musashi, piloted by Yamato Ichidaiji, who's voiced by Toshiki Masuda.
